Life is about to be busy
So I’m going to enjoy this morning
Quiet and quietly
Rapidly becoming two of my favorite words
If I could just soak it in deep enough
Then I can handle a lot of noise.
Yes, a conference the past few days
Was enjoyed because of a quiet drive
But that audible book on The Great Unknown
Filled the silence with death of brain cells…
They died quietly.
Soak up the words
Enjoy the melody
Rub shoulders with dozens
Retreat to the quiet space…
I think I’ll mow my yard tonight.
Bluetooth headphones
Noise I choose to enjoy
Just watch out for dogs who don’t understand
A tractor has dangerous moving parts.
Quiet, and quietly,
The morning dawned, suns full blast
Dogs are fed,
Time to get ready…
Sunday? I’m ready for church.
