I awoke in a different city,
The bed was comfortable,
And the temperature was cold.
What are my odds? I slept the entire night through.
But pain grabs my foot.
It’s been hurting for months.
Surgery is on the horizon.
What are my odds God will heal?
Uncomfortable with mobility
Seeking an adventure to retire in
Is there any place better than here or now?
What are my odds of finding something more suitable?
I’m thinking this morning.
It’s not about the odds.
It’s about God’s will.
And what I’m willing to do.
What are the odds I’ll respond wrongly?
