Life is a challenge
Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow
No matter how you think it
You face hurdles and problems all the time.
Why do we let the obstacles win?
I believe it’s because we leave out a component
Win with God in your morning routine
Long before the day hits its stride.
That’s right. Give the day to God.
Hold nothing back.
Let Him be the equalizer
Keeping you on track
The world around unravels quickly
Not to sound trite or disrespectful
But my God is the Superglue
The nail in a sure place.
I’ve watched lives surrender.
Overwhelmed by the challenge
Throw in the towel. Uncle.
Giving up before giving the day to God.
This morning, I felt underwater.
There have been many challenges this year
Deaths of friends and family,
Some I never had a chance to remember.
In the momentary flash of negative
I return to my foundation, my strength
God lifts us out of the miry clay
Strong rock, thank you, Lord.
I’m ready to face my day.
