Why not get up and start a new day
Expecting something fresh and reviving.
Even if nothing new happens around you,
Your anticipation of the day makes it new.
Why not review a week of hours, minutes, and days,
And look for all the silver linings
Instead of only the mundane and, oh, well’s
A review helps you set this next week up for growth.
Based on this last week, I purpose for this next week
To be “better than I expected or deserved.”
Keep looking up, even if the world looks down.
Face the rising sun with hope so the setting sun will say
Well Done!
It takes some faith, retraining your mind,
And seeing the world differently.
But you’ve got this. Look at your past week…
Make a review. Now look ahead,
It’s time to make life better.
Hebrews 11:8-10 NKJV
By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place
which he would receive as an inheritance.
And he went out, not knowing where he was going.
By faith he dwelt in the land of promise as in a foreign country,
dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob,
