Better Try Better

It’s easy to reflect as we move to the New Year.
How grand or sad the currency of the present has been
On the spectrum of ups and downs,
I can only say, You want it better? Better Try Better.

In each learning event, we strive for improvement
Making choices that keep us moving ahead
It’s easily the opposite path for some. Imperfection is their normal
Along the path, they’ve had no clue on how to try to do better.

Learning life means looking, but not living in the past.
What worked, didn’t, or maybe it was barely okay.
You can live in the past recriminations, but you cannot change the past.
You had better learn it now, try better for different results.

I wonder if Job of Bible fame
Had any inkling of the day unfolding
News from every corner kept slamming
Was it possible to think life was okay?

His attitude tells a tale
Naked came I, and naked I’ll leave
The Lord gives, and the Lord takes away
Blessed be the Name of the Lord.

Then the challenge became physically personal.
When faced with suffering, he said,
Shall we indeed accept good from God, and not accept adversity?
In all this, Job did not sin with his lips.

At some future point, we will see the past with clarity,
Our search for positives includes finding hidden gems.
Positive moves forward from negatives
Why? How? We learned it’s better to try better.

Believe in the value of lessons learned, Get up, and face the new day
Challenges of past mistakes can help us improve day by day.
There’s nothing more important to learn and do…
Aim for your best by giving it your all.
It’s always better to try better until you reach your best.

Good, better, best.
Never let it rest.
Till your good gets better.
And your better gets best.
