A poor sleeping night, up at 3:30 a.m., dogs fed, truck packed, now head for the hills – cold, snow, ice, mountains, and R&R. You know, heaven.

But something popped on our radar just after a few hours. Yes. We were tired. Work, church, family, and life, has taken it’s toll. We need some peace, quiet, distance, and no brainer entertainment.

Welcome, West Yellowstone!

Of course, we are here too late to ride into the West entrance. It closed today. But the village is nice, the facilities are very comfortable, and we really want some quiet time.

But, where did our youth-fullness go?

We are exhausted by the drive, but we used to fly down the road 24-hours a day. Swapping off drivers helps, but it’s not a question of vim, vigor or vitality.

It’s age. Slower pace. Let’s not rush. Stop and smell the flower, and break the drive into several days of R&R.

On the way home, I promise, it will be different.

Thanks for Reading! Now, how about sharing?
