Vacation started several days ago. We are leisurely driving and enjoying the company (us) and private time together.
Both of us have reasons to not be comfortable or relaxed just yet. Things are happening back home that need our attention. So, vacation is a divided blessing. Get through the next two days, and maybe we are ready.
At the start of each morning, and before the truck gets into gear, we pray. Protection. Safety. Peace. Fun. Yesterday, my brides Daily Scripture popped up. Back in the ‘90s we learned it as a song. Every so often it’s part of a Worship song for Sunday.
The Lord’s Blessing should be sought out and given every day!
We are living this prayer. For us. You. Friend. Family. Stranger. In the middle of a desert, receive this Word from God. It’s a blessing you can’t refuse!
“And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Speak unto Aaron and unto his sons, saying, On this wise ye shall bless the children of Israel, saying unto them, The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace. And they shall put my name upon the children of Israel; and I will bless them.” (Numbers 6:22-27, KJV)
