Faith for an uncertain futureFaith for an uncertain future

It should not be amazing when a single thought allows you to connect the principles of scripture you’ve lived by. Your life is a living witness of what you believe, and others are finding your strength as you stand up for the day. Counted!

“We have not demonstrated how genuine our faith is
until we go through the trial and we keep our spirit right.”

~Brian Kinsey

How genuine is your faith? Is it strong enough? Will it see you through? How much faith does it take?

All good questions, and there’s much thought behind the words, “

But without faith it is impossible to please Him,
for he who comes to God must believe that He is,
and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
(Hebrews 11:6 NKJV)

“I believe God, I believe God. Ask what you will and it shall be done. Trust and obey. And then you can say. I believe I believe God.” Go ahead. Hum it. Sing it. No matter what you face, believe God.

The Apostle Paul said:

For I am persuaded,
that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities,
nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature,
shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
(Romans 8:38-39 KJV)

That’s Faith! If we Love God, then NOTHING should diminish our Faith in God. This natural world, nor the fears in our minds, can overwhelm your faith in God.

The holder of the Keys of The Kingdom, Peter, says it like this:

Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.
(1 Peter 4:12-13 KJV)

No matter what comes our way, and fiery trials are sure to show up every so often; we have the Power to Overcome! Could I say it like this? It’s the Power of our Faith.

John writes it like this in one of his epistles.

By this we know that we love the children of God,
when we love God, and keep his commandments.
For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments:
and his commandments are not grievous.
For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world:
and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?
(1 John 5:2-5 KJV)

That’s faith! Even with an uncertain future, do not let your faith be weakened! A lack of faith will destroy your walk with God. It’s a simple formula that goes something along these lines:

Need it? Get it! Got it? Use it!
