It’s been a long day. It started early, it felt like hard work. I started tired, and am finishing tired. Early morning prep, Church and then our first church picnic of the year. Both a perfect start and finish.
There’s something about hanging out with people you enjoy. Need I say more? Some of the finest folks I know. Friends, recent and for decades, but good people one and all.
Then you get a message from a young lady you knew in Anchorage, the first born baby in our church, with a picture of her with me not long before we moved to our present abode. You realize you’ve been surrounded by great people for decades.
Take stock of who you surround your life with…are they worth it? My people are! I miss them all… family and friends, hither and yon, yesterday, today, and tomorrow!
