We act like others and then complain about the condition of the world. We think like them and then wonder why the results never change.
What’s that saying, “If you keep on doing what you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you’ve always gotten.” To which I reply from my computer days of old: GIGO! (Garbage In Garbage Out)
Why not take ownership of this thought?
Do you want to see a better place? How about taking better actions? Seek better results? Let the change you wish to see begin with you.
“One person can make a difference.
You don’t have to be a big shot.
You don’t have to have a lot of influence.
You just have to have faith in your power to change things.”
~Norman Vincent Peale
Some will think it’s not worth the effort. When in Rome, right? Just be like everyone else. Moronic. Yep. That’s what it is. I like to think better about myself and lead from that position of difference!
“I have one life and one chance to make it count for something…”
~Jimmy Carter
If we believe that Christ makes us different, then are you living a different life than you were before Christ was your focus in life?
It’s a little lengthy read, just 10 verses, but it makes my point so clear.
And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins,
in which you once walked according to the course of this world,
according to the prince of the power of the air,
the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience,
among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh,
fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind,
and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others.
But God,
who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us,
even when we were dead in trespasses,
made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),
and raised us up together,
and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,
that in the ages to come
He might show the exceeding riches of His grace
in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.
For by grace you have been saved through faith,
and that not of yourselves;
it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.
For we are His workmanship,
created in Christ Jesus for good works,
which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
Ephesians 2:1-10 NKJV
Hmmm… I’ve written about this before.
Be The Difference: Repeat after me. I can change. I can be the difference others need to see. If it is to be, it is up to me. Share on X
