Standing in the back of the church,
listening to a great teaching from a time thousands of years ago,
but not so different than today.
Life is different but the same.
Why do we struggle?
They struggled back then.
Don’t be surprised we feel a stress equal to their times.
Is life any different?
We have different challenges but the same battle.
To every follower, we’ve been taught to overcome.
I keep learning, right, Paul?
Some will never have an easy life.
Mostly due to their lack of desire.
Or, they don’t see the battle for what it is.
And they are not interested in anything being better
Unless the event betters them.
So. Keep striving.
Not with each other, but with yourself.
Keep your life moving forward, but keep following Christ.
“And if Christ is in you,
the body is dead because of sin,
but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.”
(Romans 8:10, NKJV)
