Connecting puzzle piecesLet's Connect!

Humpty Dumpty is an infamous rhyme. It’s probably political satire, or it was written from some such piece of history. The conclusion was Humpty Dumpty could never be put back together again.

Righting the Ship. Turn the tide. Return to our foundation. Don’t lose anything.

But that’s not the truth of life. We are always losing pieces of ourselves. History is replete with the damage done by a wrecking process.

I watch from afar and see the implosion and explosion of so many lives. But it’s not just there. It’s also here.

Since you can never go back, how do you move forward?

The Prodigal returned, but life was different for him before he left. Jonah returned to his mission, but he was a changed person. Saul went to Damascus, but he started a new journey as Paul.

Key Thought: Picking up the pieces doesn’t mean it returns to what it was – but you have something new you can build from. Lemons? Lemonade! Too many peanuts? Peanut butter!

Keep it together; the day will come when everything will be new.

Then He who sat on the throne said,
“Behold, I make all things new.”
And He said to me,
“Write, for these words are true and faithful.”
(Revelation 21:5 NKJV)
