“I’m not much with people, and I’m not a family man. I want my peace. I want to know how God created this world. I am not interested in this or that phenomenon, in the spectrum of this or that element. I want to know His thoughts, the rest are details.” ~Albert Einstein

The rest are details… I want to know His thoughts…

Can we be contented with a subset of knowledge and not worry about the pesky details others are concerned with?

Science is always changing its understanding as data is garnered. It’s like claiming to be a technologist because your degree from the last century says you are – and since then, you’ve discarded what you started with. New languages on the cutting edges of change and old processes are discarded.

Imagine sending a new telescope into outer space with the ability to look deeper in space than we’ve ever been able to see and then be in awe when our foundations of understanding are being shaken. Changed.

Yes. I know. A degree is a starting place, not the finish line.

Of course, they cannot consider what they understand without standing on the shoulders of men like Einstein.

I know I am… Sorry, Einstein. I want to know God’s thoughts, but I’m very interested in what the Webb telescope shows us.
