Think Big ChalkboardThink Big, Go Big, or Go Home

Yes… Go big, or go home. That’s my morning thought. It’s what came to me earlier this morning while I was getting things ready for the pups to be outside.

Now, it may not be what you think. For me, it’s the idea that I can be bigger than the snideness or disdain of others. Be big, or go home. I can react as low-minded as they, and we both go home!

It will be like wrestling a pig. You end up dirty, and the pig likes it.
~George Bernard Shaw

So, I can act bigger…or go home. Equally, I can be like Jesus and Love Bigger…or go home. That’s why I said, “Go big or go home.” Through the years, I’ve been ignored and put down by the best my world has to offer.

I am bigger, and I will not go home!

I just become better. Why? I’m bigger than the problem because I serve a God that is bigger than any mountain! Yes, that snippet comes from a song! [Click Here]

But. To “Go Big” I must think outside of my ability, so we should Think Big! Then, Go Big or Go Home!

Here’s My Key Thought

Who in scripture am I thinking about? Jesus. Paul. David. Esther. Ruth. Peter. John. Moses. The list is almost endless. They all showed how to Be Bigger than the challenges from their world. They never gave up, nor went home because they were afraid of the moment.

In my favorite epistle, the Apostle Paul wrote:

But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly that now, at last,
you revived your thinking of me (although you indeed did think but lacked opportunity).
Not that I speak as to need, for I have learned to be content in whatever state I am.
And I know to be humbled, and I know to abound; in everything,
and in all things, I am taught both to be filled and to hunger, both to abound, and to lack.
I have strength for all things in Christ the One strengthening me.
(Philippians 4:10-13 LITV)

Notice his last phrase from the Literal Translation (LITV): I have strength for all things in Christ the One strengthening me. You are not in this alone. God has more than enough strength for you to go through all things.

To know this strength, you will have to experience it at a time when you are at your lowest. When Christ comes through for you, and He will, you will:

Be strong. Be big. And not go home.
