Sitting in a diner, listening to the locals, watching their interactions, I feel the laid back moments before a busy day. It’s just after 6 am, a few degrees above 40, sun is fresh in the eastern sky. The day promises to be excellent.

I feel the invitational “fit in” and know the comfort of the early morning.

Young teens breaking into their adult voice and mannerisms, learning to be while becoming. Going Fishing? Yessir!

Workers aiming to please. Smiles. Helpful. Their busyness produces the laid back moments.

Coffee is hot, fresh and welcomed. Enjoyed.

Clinton County Bulldogs. Lots of County Pride.

It’s a different pace here in Kentucky. Lots to do but much accomplished without punching a time card. I’m not in the city. Pure country. I could almost say it’s the End of the Road as Homer, Alaska but without the tourists.

Feeling Welcomed.
