I Tweeted back on 02/18/2020.
“We are sometimes so vindictive to those we perceive are not as “right” or in the “right” as we feel ourselves to be. Instead of spewing and expressing the negative comparisons, look for the connective tissues between you and them. That’s where healing takes place!”
We should be looking for healers and opportunities, but instead, we find destruction. On most accounts, even from the nicest people, there seems to be an inside voice that cries out for punishment and destruction instead of being involved in healing situations. There’s nothing so kingdom-minded as saying something like, “Let’s fix this! We can do it.” There is a connection between me and thee, and it is my idea that we can find it!
I’ve watched the destruction of lives by criticizing, slashing, and burning. Then, ignoring them as if they do not exist, the back is turned instead of extending a helping hand.
All around us are those who focus on the negatives. Yet, I’ve been around some who only know the value of restoration.
On who do you depend? Who do you follow?
Who Do You Follow
I want someone who can connect the dots! Repair the breach. Correct our stance. Face life better than last time. A miracle worker? Perhaps. At least someone who takes the value of souls into their heart even when they see negativity everywhere.
The Apostle Paul said, “To all, I have become all things, that in any and every way I might save some.” (1 Corinthians 9:22 LITV)
Isn’t this the personality you “want” to trust? Someone who tries! You cannot possibly fix every situation or reach every person, but that doesn’t stop you from trying. Putting your whole self into the equation is the key. I’m interested in is a “Fixer” and not a “Quitter.” The first are the few, and the latter are the many. Perhaps we don’t see the value in someone who never sees the negative for what it’s become and sees the positive for its possibilities.
I was thinking about it like this: When the airplane I’m flying on wants to exhibit negative behavior, I want a pilot working the problem from beginning to end and not giving up when the first repair attempt fails. A Fixer, not a Quitter.
Connective Tissue – “We are sometimes so vindictive to those we perceive are not as “right” or in the “right” as we feel ourselves to be. Instead of spewing and expressing the negative comparisons, look for the connective tissues… Share on XWe can destroy the connective tissue so severely that its potential will never be recognized. Or, at first sight of a connection problem, you work the issue for a healthy resolution. And, never give up!
It’s really your call. What’s your pleasure?
