The Old Testament prophet

Deep words and revelation power comes from this book. Over and over he portrays the coming Messiah with images  hidden in his message to Israel.  Blind to the historical readers, but understood from the future.

Still he speaks to me in a personal way. A way that I enjoy the Word of God speaking. So, yes, even today and 2500+ years later – what does Isaiah say..

Read him now.  Do you hear it with your mind, body and soul?

Isa 40:28-31 Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding. 29 He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. 30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: 31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Hast thou not known? Hast thou not heard? Nothing new but power of the present moment to comprehend that he gives me strength as I serve him.  New heights.  New power. New perseverance.

How about you?
