Lazy River - Sunrise, or Sunset
Make every day count, whether starting, or ending.

Today is my official day off of the week,
Happens to be the last of the month – March
The day off and the last of the month … Monday.
That fits!

How does this day start? Refreshed… Sleep was good.

I’m back home after a whirlwind trip for multiple reasons.
Some can travel easily and well.
It’s reached a point where I’m not so sure I’ll do it again.
Unless I’m driving…Then it’s a different pace.

The airport experience on both sides was disappointing
Hot. Crowded. Slow.
They both left me ill-informed.
It was almost as if I were lost.

Write a letter of suggestion
Send it on your merry way,
Trust the powers that be
To commiserate with your experience.

Move on. It’s a new day.
Before you know it, it will soon end
Then, tomorrow begins,
The hours and minutes countdown,
And betwixt the two I take my pause.

No sun; it’s gloomy
But I’m fine with that
I’ve learned to be content
It’s good as long as it’s not hot.

I’ve re-entered my normal routine
Gunny paws the back door.
He hears me shuffle around.
He will have to wait.
I must finish what I’ve started.

A morning devotion tells me:

And it shall be that every living thing that moves,
wherever the rivers go, will live.

There will be a very great multitude of fish,
because these waters go there;
for they will be healed,
and everything will live wherever the river goes.
(Ezekiel 47:9 NKJV)

This goes much with several thoughts from this past week:

  • Rivers never Go Reverse – So, try to live like a river.
  • Time is like a river – you cannot touch the same water twice

Life is like a river
Stagnant, roaring, or lazily flowing
The key to life is to know where you are
No matter the moment, stay with the river.

Family, God, Church…
You call it.
The River will see you through it.
For with the river, there is life.
