Someone was telling me I need to buy a certain product in it’s instant form and I would enjoy it better. Whereas, I’ve been doing it a certain way for a long time and am pleased with what my process gives me.
Being said, instant is not instant….it’s just a point later in the process than where I start.
This got me to thinking about who I am, where I’m at, what have I yet to become. In other words, where am I in the process of who I’m destined to become?
Think about it.
You keep processing life until your last breath. You can leave things behind that can continue your mission, or wind up with nothing but a tawdry bit of life that others will toss.
I’m never satisfied with what I know. I’m always learning and striving to know more.
My vocabulary and thirst for more never slows down.
Then, somewhere someone said to me this week, I’m about ready to end it all and then all would be better.
They are confronting their process that is not theirs to decide.i convinced them there is a process through the struggles. I don’t believe in just words. I believe in action. It’s a process!
The writer of Hebrews wrote a couple of chapters after the “Faith” chapter where he expresses the idea of persevering till the end.
“Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.”
(Hebrews 13:20-21, NKJV)
God makes you complete by working in you what is well pleasing in His sight…
It’s not a Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm job. It’s not only at church, during prayer, or on Sunday. It’s an everyday “process” even when you don’t feel good, think right, walk the correct way, or thinking in a dark space.
Life is a process.
The faster you accept that he makes a way of escape from any trial you face, or can handle any negative report or lost feeling. Sticks and stones may break your bones, but he can repair them!
That’s your process!
Sometimes it takes longer, and other times He works quickly. But rest assured, even when you are sleeping He’s at work! His process works when you think you are alone or even feeling hopeless.
“To this end I also labor, striving according to His working which works in me mightily.”
(Colossians 1:29, NKJV)
When doubt arises, process it out of your system!
When fear rumbles on the scene, remember, greater is he in you than he who is in the world.
When confusion reigns, He’s the God of order who created the entire world, solar system, distant galaxies and the entire known and unknown future!
