Not all end right,
Nor does it begin on the best foot forward.
Sometimes, life is promising.
There are many other times when it’s a debris field of brokenness.
Dreams. Wishes. Plans. Goals. Objectives. Promises.
Hope has the spring that says all wells produce water.
Wishes are all the plans we toss like coins, then pray.
Reality is the written tale of failures.
We didn’t take into account this or that.
“Failure is not fatal, but failure to change might be.” ~John Wooden
One thought burbles to the surface.
Something life does not turn out the way you planned.
That doesn’t mean it’s a failed story.
You can continually adapt, change, and try again.
All victories include failures that did not stop the attempt.
“I have not failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.” – Thomas A. Edison
Solomon says:
For a righteous man may fall seven times
And rise again,
But the wicked shall fall by calamity.
(Proverbs 24:16 NKJV)
Broken dreams and plans?
Change the parameters and results desired,
Try. Try…and try again.
Don’t stop trying just because it’s failed before.
There is a positive end to be had.
Don’t live in the debris field.
