Sleepless night with a person drapped across a chair
One of those nights

It’s a new week, and there’s much to be done.
Tasks. Projects. Completions. Goals.
Last night was “one of those nights.”
I’m praying today is better than “one of those days.”

“One of Those Nights”

It’s one of those nights and the world feels wide,
Silence whispers, and shadows hide.
Thoughts unravel, stars won’t sleep,
Memories surface, feelings deep.

The clock ticks loud, the mind won’t rest,
Questions linger, and hearts confess.
But even in the quiet fight of the night,
There’s hope to be found in one of those nights.

“One of Those Days”

It’s one of those days. Yes. The clock moves slowly,
Where everything tangles, nothing seems to flow.
Coffee spills, don’t waste! And plans unravel and unwind,
Peace feels distant and hard to find.

Clouds gather heavy, thoughts wander astray,
Each is a little storm in the light of day.
Yet somewhere deep, a lesson stays
Even strength is built on days like today.

Thank you for reading.
