Do questions matter?
It depends on who’s asking and whom you are asking the question.
Even more, it depends on the question.

Some questions need to be answered by certain folks,
and some need to be the ones to answer.

As with King David, questions are asked of God,
and he seems to know the answer when he asks.

If questions matter, it’s probably more for confirmation.

“When I lay these questions before God, I get no answer.
But a rather special sort of No Answer.
It is more like a silent, certainly not uncompassionate, gaze.
As though He shook His head not in refusal but waiving the question.
Like, Peace, child; you don’t understand”
~C.S. Lewis
