The First Day is not Monday.
That’s reserved for Sunday.
The Bible tells us so.
Jesus rose the first day of the week.
That’s Sunday. Not Monday.
Blue Monday, they say,
Because it’s your first day of work
After a long and often alcholic haze.
Monday is often a fog.
Not for me.
It’s never been.
It’s often the starter’s pistol firing.
“Go!”
The Bible has no “names” for days of the week.
They’ve evolved from time, culture and language.
Most of our English words for the day,
Come from solar bodies of our universe.
Sunday for the “Sun”
Monday for the “Moon”
Can you figure out the remainder?

Anyway… Monday it is.
For some it’s a day of recovery from the weekend.
For others, it’s the start of the work week.
I believe, start Monday like gangbusters!
The rest will line up and follow suit.
Two Pauline thoughts for any day,
Even if it’s a Monday.
Prepared and Ready…
Enjoy your Monday.
Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 8:37-39 NKJV
Put on the whole armor of God so that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
Ephesians 6:11 NKJV
