Remember when you were young, you were taught to pick up behind yourself. Not just the toys or clothes, but the excess. Not just picking up, but also putting away to their proper place.
At the end of the day I like everything to be put into the place that’s easily accessible tomorrow.
Life’s end is just around some unknown corner. I want Everton place to show I planed for an ending. No hanging chads, if you know what I mean.
Until that end, I promise to stay busy picking up life’s pieces.
Bits and Pieces,
Pieces and Parts,
Life is about picking all of them up.
At the end of a work shift, I laid everything out for tomorrow’s arrival.
At the end of church, I feel like I’m picking up the pieces that represent our lives. Why? There’s an enemy out there waiting to flood our lives but God has a solution!
“”When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’ And when he comes, he finds it swept and put in order.” (Luke 11:24-25, NKJV)
If you do it correctly, there’s no room for a return to life as it was before. Unordered.
