Early Each Morning say Hello God
Hello, God

I awoke, ready to do, go and be.
A cup of coffee, my morning routine.
Then I paused. Suddenly tired.
Stretch out. Another hour of snooze.

I didn’t even know I needed it.
Life stretches its load before me.
It’s getting tougher each day.

One of these days, I pray far from now,
I’ll stretch one more time.
Last breath here, next breath there.

Hello, God!

So I practice for that time.
“Hello, God,” as often as I can.
It’s like stretching the vocal cords
Before that final hurrah.
My prayer, praise and worship!
His Word always in reach.

They are my constant companions,
Until that shore I reach.

Come on! Now! Enjoy this day.
But only after you say, Hello! God!

Thank you for reading.
Please share with others.
It helps me get my book written!
