I love words…
Why say it in a long sentence
That may be easily misunderstood,
When a coded definition can say it with a single word.

Not only do words simplify the sentence
But it raises the intelligent quotient of the one who loves words.
Often, it means you’ve read and studied more,
And that should mean intelligence!

Finding an old or new word
In old tome, it makes me feel like I’ve won the lottery.
Jackpot! (Why does that word mean victory?)

We talk, think, and mull things over differently
You are as unique as I am.
In words on a page, I see patterns,
They show me the flow of a story.
Of course, the pattern changes
As the font, size, and margin sizes change.

August is just around the corner.
Life is moving into the hottest month.
I’m about ready to stay indoors for a while
Even as my body aches start to climb.

Read between the lines.
I’ve got a lot of inside work to do…
Books to write and accounts to figure,
Lessons to prepare and words to research.

Ahhhaa… Synchronicity!

Thank you for reading.
Please share with others.
It helps me get my book written!
