It’s been different, these few years of this decade.
Although, the weirdness began in the ‘teens of this century.
Age has sometime to do with it.
Especially when what you think it’s supposed to look like and it’s not happening.
The “times” play a huge role.
If there’s another part of the equation, it’s probably the simple thought… That’s Life.
If these three things make up the equation,
I can be honest and say I’m not sure if one is weighter than the other.
They are not thirds except that there are three.
Thirds implies equality, but that’s not to be.
Unbalanced is how I’m thinking.
Not in kilter or sync.
Disconnected from the whole.
They create a disjointed view of life.
Tragedy comes in “three’s.”
At least that’s what others say.
I believe they come in bunches…
Even more than we can count on one hand.
So you must learn how to handle the struggle.
If you have no spiritual component to everyday life,
Then you may feel like it’s hopeless.
That’s what early termination of life may choose.
I feel like you take control of your choices,
You lose control of your options.
If anything, Hope in Christ is my winning overview of anything life has to throw at me!
Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.
And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.
1 John 3:1-3 NKJV
To understand hope often means you have an anchor when life is not going smoothly or normal.
Hope is being able to see that there is light despite all of the darkness.
~Desmond Tutu
How do you repair your disjointed equation? Quit looking at the momentary events, and start looking for the bigger picture of life. After all, life is fleeting, and what you do with your life despite the events will tell the future more about your ability to overcome the fragments.
Three grand essentials to happiness in this life are
something to do, something to love, and something to hope for.
~Joseph Addison
