Dog Pointing
Making Your Point

I’ve taught, preached, sermonized, and explained…
Scripture, technology, banking, family, and life.
But I’ve found the best way to get the lesson across
Is to “practice what you preach” and “live what you believe.”

People pay millions to follow advice…
Just for the privilege of a one-on-one session
Last year, I think, it was $19,000,100 winning auction bid
To have lunch with Warren Buffett [Source]

He’s successful, and has been rich for a gadzillion years
If you want to be like him? Pony Up!
Research Buffett. He drives old cars, lives in an original house
Purchased decades ago, and doesn’t seemingly flaunt his wealth.
Whereas, if you or I had that dough, we would struggle to contain ourselves!

I’ve said it a lot recently,
If you can’t manage a dollar
You will never manage a million.

What’s my point?
As a friend would say, “I’m glad you asked…”
You are making your point every day, all the time,
By how you live, speak, act, and react.
Perhaps you need to just live your belief
And let us see what your point might be.

Then the Pharisees and Sadducees came,
and testing Him asked that He would show them a sign from heaven.
He answered and said to them,
“When it is evening you say, ‘It will be fair weather, for the sky is red’;
and in the morning, ‘It will be foul weather today, for the sky is red and threatening.’
Hypocrites! You know how to discern the face of the sky,
but you cannot discern the signs of the times.
A wicked and adulterous generation seeks after a sign,
and no sign shall be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah.”
And He left them and departed.
(Matthew 16:1-4 NKJV)

Jesus made his point…
And if you want to know more
Go study Jonah…
‘Nuff said…
