My Morning View 6am 062724
Good Morning!

A commonly asked morning question
To the one I’ve traveled life with for nearly 50 years.
As we age, that question becomes very important.
I want what’s best and perfect for my love.

The answers I’ve received through the years
Tells me of life’s struggles and victories.
A good night’s rest portends a positive day.
An ache, or sleep-torn night, means, perhaps, the opposite.

Regardless… I ask because I want to know!

Check the morning temperature.
Of the one you love and care about
Let the answer guide you forward through the day
Keep in mind you made vows, so keep them!

“Life is what we make it,
always has been, always will be.”
~Grandma Moses.

So, now, that’s a question I ask of you.
Not that you read or will ever respond.
Should no one ever ask you this question,
Allow me. “How are you this morning?”

The picture for this posting
Comes from my driveway at 6 a.m.
I remembered to carry one more bag of trash
Before the pickup this morning… Why? My bride asked.

That’s why I ask my morning question.
I want to make sure she knows,
I love her. Respect her. And give her honor!
After all, she’s put up with me these 50 years.

Regardless of what happened yesterday,
Or even throughout the night,
This morning is yours to make of it
Whatever you choose. The choice is yours.

“When everything seems to be going against you,
remember that the airplane takes off against the wind, not with it.”
~Henry Ford
