It Is Well...

An annual wellness check, and the doctor says I’m fine.
A few tweaks, and all will be better.
Keep up the good work!

What does that do for you?
I know what it does for me.
I know the changes, and I’m working on them.
But that’s what you do when you hear news.

That’s what we do with our credit score.
We can make adjustments that fit the need.
Doesn’t that make us feel good?
We know we can handle the need.

Take it a different direction.
Social Health. Mental Health. Spiritual Health.
All stem from the condition of our position.
Doesn’t this make us want to be well?

This brings me to a song we know, but seldom sing enough.
The story is sad, but the ending is good.
The key is what you do with the news you’ve received.
Improve, or not, the ending is yours to tell.

And so she departed, and went to the man of God at Mount Carmel.
So it was, when the man of God saw her afar off, that he said to his servant Gehazi,
“Look, the Shunammite woman! Please run now to meet her, and say to her,
‘Is it well with you? Is it well with your husband? Is it well with the child?’ ”
And she answered, “It is well.”
