You stress and struggle. The load is heavy and hard, no answers are forthcoming, almost wringing your hands with worry…what do you do?
You can’t turn to someone you’ve slammed the door on. Nor can you mend your brokenness by yourself. You cannot carry the weight alone! What do you do?
You block the willing heart. You reject the one who tried. You are on your own. Your feeble attempts create strife. Rejection… You created your world. You decide.
What do you do?
It starts with yourself. Acknowledge your problem and shoulder the blame. Turn your heart to home. Prodigal? Reject? Realize your fault.
Paul points the way.
“Finally, brethren, farewell. Become complete.
Be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace;
and the God of love and peace will be with you.”
(2 Corinthians 13:11, NKJV)
It’s up to you. Be in control. Become complete. No one else can help you do that. Just you.
Become complete. Alternate translations suggest: Strive for perfection. Restore relationships. Try to make everything right.
It’s in your hands.
