I refuse to let special times be spoiled by those who think they can. They are not in control. How do they think they can do what they do and not pay the consequences of their actions?
It only happens when we give in and let them.
Not me. They have no power over me or my situation.
Well, it happened on vacation earlier this year. I gave in because the situation was hurting others. I sent a text. In the middle of my night, I cleared the issue from my plate.
That was necessary.
But I’m like a duck. I let it roll off my back and will even pay the consequence of their poor timing. Even my poor timing.
It also happened this past Christmas. I calmly disconnected from the moment, and after our family had left, I cleaned up my contacts and erased the problem.
Reactions are easy to give in to.
Don’t let your reactions create more problems.
Now. Don’t forget to care for yourself during such times. You may need help, so don’t be squeamish to ask for it.
Quack. Quack.
Unspoiled Special Times: In the last days…Perilous times will come, from such people turn away. Share on XBut know this, that in the last days perilous times will come:
For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power.
And from such people turn away!
