It’s been a long week, in hours and days.
They’ve dragged on.
Loaded. Weighted.
Even Frustrated.
If you left the week with all that
and never thought about God,
you are in a hopeless situation.
That’s not good.
But if you spent some time in Fellowship,
Prayer, Praise, and entered into some Worship,
then the Word, no matter how you received it,
there is something presented to you that is the salve of a worn-out life.
Hopefully, you were greeted,
made to feel welcome,
and no matter what you brought to God’s House,
there’s an altar you can lay it all down.
Free! Refreshed!
Here’s the key I want to share.
You must avail yourself of Time and space for refreshing.
Seek it. It will happen. And a better way to make it happen…
Help someone else to find the refresh they need.
Exodus 23:12, NKJV
“Six days you shall do your work,
and on the seventh day you shall rest,
that your ox and your donkey may rest,
and the son of your female servant
and the stranger may be refreshed.”
2 Corinthians 7:13, NKJV
“Therefore we have been comforted in your comfort.
And we rejoiced exceedingly more for the joy of Titus,
because his spirit has been refreshed by you all.”
Philemon 1:7, NKJV
“For we have great joy and consolation in your love,
because the hearts of the saints have been refreshed by you, brother.”
