Diagram of Mans Plan vs Gods Plan
My way seems easier, just not His plan.

Tangled webs of plans and goals
Nothing works cleanly
We strive to clear the path
What we want is for life to be easy,
That’s probably not what God had in mind.

He says the rain will fall on the just and the unjust
Equal treatment all around.
But are we aiming for success?
Ahha. Success. It’s not so easy to be found.

All we must do is look around
Everywhere struggles constantly abound
But I’ve learned the peace of the day
It is not found in what I want but in what He says.

Ups and downs, lefts to right, forward and backward
We twirl, stumble, and often fall down.
The valley describes a shadow of death
But it’s also in valleys that abundance grows.

I take my eyes off the surroundings
Maybe it’s a little like a horse wearing blinders
No distractions for me to check out
If it is not my next step? Why bother?!

Lift your eyes above the horizon
That’s where He’s beckoning us to keep on moving
Life is there in His calling. Victory. Someday.
It will come calling.

My Plan versus God's: Lift your eyes above it all; that's where He's beckoning us. Keep on moving. Life is calling. Victory. Someday. Somewhere. It will come calling. Share on X

Genesis 8:20-22 NKJV
[At the end of the Flood, Noah closes the book on the story. Life goes on.]

Then Noah built an altar to the LORD,
and took of every clean animal
and of every clean bird,
and offered burnt offerings on the altar.
And the LORD smelled a soothing aroma.
Then the LORD said in His heart,
“I will never again curse the ground for man’s sake,
although the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth;
nor will I again destroy every living thing as I have done.
While the earth remains,
Seedtime and harvest,
Cold and heat,
Winter and summer,
And day and night
Shall not cease.”
