Figure hanging onto a question mark
What Will you Do?

What will you do when stress arrives
As a locomotive, huffing, puffing, and steaming.
Are you ready to depart? Time’s a wasting!
You must make up your mind quickly…
What do you take?

When life is twirling and swirling
The times feel uncertain, storming.
What will you do when you must make the time
To make a righteous decision
Though you are uncertain about going or what to do?

I don’t “keep prayed up,” and you can ask why.
Rather, I keep praying. Every breath. A prayer.
There’s no destination or timing in mind,
It’s just keeping the journey in focus.
Even when decisions must be made quickly.

We’ve moved from Texas to Alaska.
Back to Texas, and then back to Alaska
Now we are in Washington…
20 years in place, this year is our longest spot.

But the Good Lord knows our place
I’m encouraged. He fills my emptied space
With His Love, Focus, Mercy, and Grace
You never know when that last journey…
Could it be? Home is finally in view.
