I’ll share this thought later as time permits.
But I went to sleep with the title of an old rock song by an old rock group who will be performing at the state fair this summer. Doobie Brothers. What a fool believes. It’s a sad song of believing in second chances. Believe it all you want and the facts never change.

No wise man has the power to reason away
Co-written by Kenny Loggins and Michael McDonald (lead of the Doobie Brothers), it makes me think of the difficulty of beating a dead horse, living with false hope, and believing in the impossible.
No wise man has the power to reason away your beliefs. You are stuck in that past, and still hoping for future success.

When His disciples heard it, they were greatly astonished, saying, “Who then can be saved?” But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
Matthew 19:25-26 NKJV
What do you believe?
