Let me give you a quote, and then the planner lays out the idea for this, that, and those. From building a house to planting a yard or considering a medical procedure, we look for quotes to give us a framework. Thus, we make choices based on the value of a quote.
Whoa! What did I just say?
We make choices based on the value of a quote.
For the price of gold, a stock, or a side of beef, we look for the quoted worth to see if we are willing to pay. At what point does the quote make such good sense that we choose to invest?
Still, quotes are also the sayings of others
that we learn and recite
from which we become wise and grow.
I’m always looking for quotes. Why? Someone has thought something out so well that a result of calorie burn can restate a fact or an idea that makes sense in a few words.

There are research sites to find quotes that circle the drain of this subject or that. Let’s see what others had to say about life from here to there. Surely someone says it best, so you would think I’m smart because I know their quote.
Perhaps a great quote begins with the beginning if you search for meaning. Philosophy, Thinkers, Writers, Historians. Look forward, backward, or right where you are, and you will find meaning in the past, the future, and your present. Think it through. Word it out. Share it.

“The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it? I, the LORD, search the heart, I test the mind, Even to give every man according to his ways, According to the fruit of his doings.
Jeremiah 17:9-10 NKJV
What you quote tells a lot about what you fill your mind with. Think about it. Words and ideas come from somewhere, someone, at some time. You don’t know them at all. Hence, I find myself returning to scriptural-based quotes.
How about you? Who do you quote the most? What quotes speak to you more than others?
