Valuable Lesson Thought
Someone Figured Out Each of These

Through my 66+ years of tripping around the sun, I’ve learned many lessons with many more on the horizon. Think about it. You don’t have to be as old as I am to realize; we’ve learned valuable lessons that are priceless in their attainment and seldom understood by others who are not there just yet.

Example: Money does not grow on trees. True.
We once thought it would be nice to have a money tree,

and you can earn from trees you may have,
but as with everything, you must work to produce the money!

I thought it would be nice to live in the middle of nowhere (if you know me, you can describe this place!), and not another smokestack in view. That takes money. To get money, you must start young (which I am not), and you must spend and invest your funds wisely to produce what you want. Then? It takes a lot of hard work to maintain what you’ve attained!

I’ve just shared a valuable lesson. Will you learn it now? Or must you wait until the future to finally gain the value of these words? We all look back and moan, “If only I knew then what I know now.” Too much of life is framed from these words, “If only….”

This is a short thought for today.

What have you learned recently that you wished you knew then? Have you shared your valuable lesson with anyone? Did they take it to heart and learn from your words, or will they have to grow into the lesson at some future date?

I’m always driven by the quotes and lives of people who did what I’m trying to do. From many lives, I rest on the probability factor that I can do anything if I set my mind to it. Spend some time reading about Edison, Einstein, or even Hawking, you realize, everything takes hard work, even when you have a skill that helps you alone. It’s hard work to learn lessons from just anyone. You apply yourself to read, study, research, and then do. Unless you quit trying to learn from your mistakes, there is nothing wrong with failure.

There! Lesson learned!

Do not deny the lesson you are about to learn. It’s valuable only if you learn from it, else you are bound to repeat the session again.
