Tweeting During September 2021

The following tweets represent my Twitterverse view of the world around us. Everything I tweet I take ownership of. From yesterday, back to the beginning of the month. I’ve left out all my blog posts and pictures of our fur babies that are for sale. Email me if you need an AKC German Shepherd puppy!

Sometimes we understand better looking back.
Other times we understand because we are in the middle of a situation.
Seldom do we think we comprehend the future?
But each of us is a product of choices made by ourselves and others.

Life has a way of happening, prepared or not.
I’ve learned to go with the flow, not letting the times dictate my outlook.
It’s my personality.
I have many to thank for the lessons.
The key: Help someone during their times, and they will help you during yours!

Getting out of shape can describe how many are after working from home for so long or attending online church. It’s not a physical thing as much as the routine keeps us who we are. Workers. Worshippers. Get up, Get at ’em!

Seldom does a #spiritual thought find its conclusion in single thinking or studying session. I build for days, sometimes weeks. Even after the presentation, the subject is not finished. It lingers. Sometimes, #leftovers are best when the fire of the moment has ended.

You carry a heavy load, but one more brick will not destroy you. How about praying for our nation today as we try to recover and renew? Canada? Pray. Mexico? Pray. The World? Pray. Then don’t worry anymore. You’ve done what you are supposed to do. Pray.

Many want to “give advice” as if their advice is the most important thing to take advantage of. Most do not care what other’s say, and their advice is short-lived. They just can’t be bothered. It’s not their original. How many times have you wished you had listened better?

Has the “law” ever let you down? Sure. Imperfect law, managed by imperfect people, in an imperfect world. But I serve a God who never fails though I’m imperfect myself.

Social platforms are not the place I find out news about you or your life. Since I’m not “following” everyone, and some share only through these platforms, many of us never learn. Old fashioned communications (including emails) still work the best for close friends.

We used to sing, He’s never failed me ‘yet’ He’s never failed me ‘yet’ Jesus Christ has never failed me ‘yet’ Everywhere I go I want the world to know that Jesus Christ has never failed me ‘yet.’
‘Yet’ implies He could fail me.
Isn’t that a doubt?
I need to rewrite this song!

Learning when not to say “Yes” is a strength I’m working on.
Key? Not! I can’t accomplish everything I want, and at my age, I’m needing to set boundaries.

When someone responds to a tweet, I seldom respond, especially when it has no purpose. As a public forum, social media is not the place I like to challenge others. If I need to do it, one on one is better than amongst strangers. #Silence is #Golden

What I didn’t realize in High School, because of the hormonal surge of teens trying to be adults, under the surface are some spiritual people trying to let their faith in God be their strength in God during these times. I thank God that I have good Classmates from Old!

The times, they be getting rougher, tougher. It could be, perhaps, the soon ending of it all. No wonder, end-time books are popular. Zombies, even End of the World. That’s all she wrote! Says Porky Pig. Hmmm. Revelations? Speak! Guess I should brush up on it! Is there hope?

“We are poor little lambs who have lost our way. Baa, Baa, Black Sheep….” So, we need Uncle Sam to find the right path, and oh, by the way… give me some free money and housing and groceries that the taxpayers are paying. And I don’t even have to say thanks!”

We hear many sad stories during tragedy and trying times. But there are always sad stories all the time. It’s like, let’s feel sorry during specific times but forget everyone during good times.

The older I get, the quicker the wall becomes a reality. It’s hard to “run through a troop, and leap over the wall…” Hallelujah! (Psalms 18:29)
I watch with amazement those that seem to have boundless energy. Even in hot weather! Gasp! I’m ready for winter!

You cannot walk close to sin and not be tainted by its proximity. You cannot walk the balance beam over sin wondering if you can let your toes dip into shark-infested waters and not be bloodied. Sin is always there. Enticing. Alluring. Tempting. Stay away. Far. Far. Away.

C19 will separate us like no other line drawn in the sand. From 2019, with Variants sprouting, a single vaccine will no longer work. We will be years into the future still fighting this virus, like the flu, reminiscing of the year of perfect vision, 2020, my year to turn 65. Welcome to the life of the future!

A #scripturetoday “Drink water from your own cistern, flowing water from your own well.”  Proverbs 5:15 (ESV) This applies on many levels and for many purposes.

The “will of the people” often means a slim margin of the majority. Thumb your noses, or consider how to make both sides happy. An almost impossible task. The sadness? Winners and losers often become enemies. When former losers prevail, tides turn, the formula remains. New noses.
It seems we are facing an uphill battle with a slippery slope of missed unity opportunities. When God is left out of the equation process, then all are losers. Does it take a war to unify? New elections? The only way forward? If my people…called by my name…2 Chronicles 7:14

I think at the speed of thought. And type at 110 wpm. My penmanship grows sloppy in a few minutes. I read/absorb mostly by skimming, listen to audio distracted, watch distracted, often involved with Social Media. In-person? Engaged! Online? Distracted. Solution? Be present.
The key is learning to be present at the moment, undistracted, focused, even when I struggle with the voice, page, screen, subject, or information. My reason to exist is here, now, all the time. If you cannot focus you are probably a distraction for others. O, grasshopper!

Mercy… Truth… Two actions of knowledge that should go hand in glove. “Let not mercy and truth forsake you; Bind them around your neck, Write them on the tablet of your heart, And so find favor and high esteem In the sight of God and man.” (Proverbs 3:3-4 NKJV)
