A long day of driving made me notice things about courteous drivers. They are thanked for their niceties.
How? By little gestures everywhere!
Waving someone over, flashing your lights in appreciation, speeding up so someone can change lanes easier… Courtesies matter!
On the other hand, those who care little about others are often viewed negatively, and I watched many an 18-wheeler work hard to keep them boxed in!
One driver and I kept passing each other, surrendering our position for the other, and ended up making the same pit stop. A nice conversation, “Hey…you have a brake light missing!” Thanks! Appreciate it!
Perhaps this is the best thing each of us need to know, extend your niceties everywhere, you never know when it will pay you back!
You never know!
Remember this, you will be known as the person you are in your heart… Produce good and it shows the good of your heart.
“A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot produce good fruit. You can tell what a tree is like by the fruit it produces. You cannot pick figs or grapes from thornbushes. Good people do good things because of the good in their hearts. Bad people do bad things because of the evil in their hearts. Your words show what is in your heart.”
Luke 6:43-45 (CEV)
Your words show what is in your heart.
