Sixteen years old… enjoying the role of Channelview High School Photographer and sharing a photo shoot with a friend. Naomi may not remember this but it is a fond memory of skipping class and taking shots for the newspaper and yearbook… She “shot” me while I was “shooting” her!
It’s a Yashica D or MAT, 110/220, and a blast to use. I owned a Yashica 35mm but the light meter was always questionable, even today- 48 years later! Hmmm. Wonder if I can still buy film?
A few years ago I bought a studio cameras Yashica MAT just for the memory.
